Social Support Calculators
Simple, free tools to estimate Portugal’s social benefits, starting with the Social Integration Income.
Social Integration Income (RSI) Calculator
How much Social Integration Income (RSI) could you receive? Use this Social Integration Income simulator to estimate the monthly RSI from your household composition (adults and minors) and the income the household already has. RSI is the difference between a maximum amount, which grows with the household, and the household’s monthly income. In 2026 the reference value is €247.56 per month for the main adult, plus 70% for each additional adult and 50% for each minor in the household.
Open calculator →Social Benefit for Inclusion (PSI) Calculator
How much Social Benefit for Inclusion (PSI) could you receive? This calculator estimates the monthly PSI of a person with a disability (incapacidade of 80% or more) by adding the fixed base component to the complement, which is the difference between a threshold that grows with the household and the income the household already has.
Open calculator →Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly (CSI) Calculator
How much Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly (CSI) could you receive? Use this Solidarity Supplement simulator to estimate the monthly CSI from your situation (living alone or as a couple) and your annual income. CSI is the difference between a reference value and your resources, divided by 12.
Open calculator →Dependency Supplement Calculator
The dependency supplement (complemento por dependência) is the monthly benefit paid to pensioners who need another person’s help with the basic acts of daily life. In 2026 it is worth €131.20 (1st degree) or €236.16 (2nd degree) on general-regime pensions, and €118.08 or €223.04 on the social pension and equivalent ones, paid double in July and in December. This calculator shows the amount for your case and applies the rule that stops the 1st degree when pensions exceed €600.
Open calculator →Death Grant and Funeral Benefit Calculator
When a family member dies in Portugal, Social Security pays one-off support, but the right benefit depends on the situation: the death grant of €1,611.39 (3 × IAS in 2026) when the deceased paid into Social Security, the funeral-expense reimbursement up to that same value, or the €268.57 funeral benefit when there was no social protection. This calculator shows which support applies to your case and how the death grant is shared among the family.

About social support calculators
Social benefits in Portugal support those on low incomes or facing hardship. They follow official rules and values, often tied to the Social Support Index (IAS) and the household’s composition. These calculators help you estimate how much you could receive from those rules. They are educational estimates that do not decide entitlement or replace Social Security. Each calculator shows the formula it uses, cites its sources and links to the article that goes deeper.
