About consumer credit calculators
Consumer credit (such as a personal loan) is a loan with a fixed amount and term, repaid in equal monthly instalments. These calculators help you estimate the payment from the amount, the rate (TAN) and the term, and see the real cost of the credit through the TAEG, which bundles interest and fees. They are educational estimates. They do not replace the bank’s offer or its standardised information sheet. Each calculator shows the formula it uses, cites its sources and links to the article that goes deeper.
