Pricing & Margin Calculators
Simple, free tools to set prices and understand how much you make on each sale, starting with profit margin.
Profit Margin Calculator
How much do you really make on each sale? This calculator shows the profit margin, the markup and the profit of a product or service from its cost and selling price. Alternatively, enter the margin you want and find the price to charge. It is the tool for understanding the often-confused difference between margin and markup.
Open calculator →Break-Even Point Calculator
How many sales do you need before your business stops losing money? This calculator shows the break-even point (the number of units and the revenue that exactly cover your costs) from the fixed costs, the selling price and the variable cost of each unit. Enter the units you expect to sell too and see the profit and the margin of safety.
Open calculator →Margin vs Markup Converter
Margin and markup measure the same profit on different bases, and swapping them is the most common pricing mistake. This converter turns a profit margin into the equivalent markup (and back) and, if you enter the cost, also shows the selling price. A 40% margin is a 66.67% markup, not 40%.

About pricing & margin calculators
Anyone selling a product or a service needs to know how much they make on each sale and what price to charge. These calculators do that maths (profit margin, markup, selling price and the break-even point) so you can price with confidence and not confuse margin with markup. They are educational estimates that do not replace your accounting. Each calculator shows the formula it uses and links to the article that goes deeper.
