About Honeywell (HON)
Honeywell is a diversified industrial conglomerate, organised around aerospace (systems and components for aircraft), building and industrial automation (sensors, control, safety), performance materials and energy-transition technology. It sells mainly to other companies, from aerospace to manufacturing, so the business mirrors global industrial activity.
It trades on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker HON and is part of the S&P 500. It is a dividend stock. In 2025 it announced a plan to break up into independent companies, separating its main businesses (aerospace and automation) and spinning off advanced materials, a reorganisation that is still being carried out and that may change the company's profile for investors.
