About BCP — Banco Comercial Português (BCP)
Banco Comercial Português (BCP), which runs the Millennium bcp brand, is Portugal's largest private bank by assets, with operations in Portugal and Poland (Bank Millennium) and a presence in Mozambique and Angola. Revenue comes mainly from net interest income (lending and deposit margins) and banking fees.
It trades on Euronext Lisbon under the ticker BCP and is one of the most heavily traded stocks by Portuguese retail investors, part of the PSI index. It has a history of heavy dilution: after the 2008 and sovereign-debt crises it carried out several capital increases and a 2016 reverse split, so today's price is not directly comparable with that of more than a decade ago.
