EDP — Energias de Portugal is Portugal's largest electricity company, active in power generation, distribution and supply. Through EDP Renováveis it is also one of the world's largest wind and solar producers, with operations across Europe, the Americas and other markets.
It trades on Euronext Lisbon under the ticker EDP and is one of the main companies in the PSI index, the benchmark of the Portuguese stock market. It has historically been a dividend stock, widely followed by retail investors in Portugal.
