About PepsiCo (PEP)

PepsiCo is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies. Beyond Pepsi soft drinks and the Gatorade and Tropicana beverages, it owns Frito-Lay and Quaker, with snack brands such as Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos — a snacks business that is, in fact, its largest source of profit.

It trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker PEP and is part of the S&P 500. Like Coca-Cola and P&G, it is a defensive stock and a "dividend king", with decades of consecutive increases, sought after by investors who value income and stability.
