Corticeira Amorim is the world's largest cork company. Its core business is cork stoppers for wine and sparkling wine, alongside flooring (floors and insulation), composite agglomerates and industrial and aerospace applications. It is a strongly export-oriented company, with customers in dozens of countries.

It trades on Euronext Lisbon under the ticker COR and is part of the PSI index, the benchmark of the Portuguese stock market. Results depend on demand for wine and construction materials and on exchange rates, since most sales are abroad.
